pal, we can go on making a list like the way you did. If you step one level up you can give generalization for all the sub level stuff...similar to classes and object funda in oops. But this post was not menat to draw generalizations like the way you did but to highlight one simple fact which is
"A rectangle is a quadrilateral which has all four angles at right angles. A square satisfies that propery too hence it is a rectangle."
the statement may seem contradictory as we (I) never thought about it that way.
